Tyler Baxter PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS is the Clinic Director at Orthopedic Physical Therapy Institute. Tyler is a Board Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist who earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Eastern Washington University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Athletic Training (ATC) from Washington State University, as well as a Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Tyler is highly skilled in the treatment of all orthopedic diagnoses. He is especially interested in working with patients with shoulder, low back, neck, hip, knee, and ankle injuries. Tyler utilizes an eclectic approach to treating his patients, incorporating manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and home exercise program instruction. A compassionate and friendly individual, Tyler enjoys not only the diverse types of diagnoses seen at OPTI, but the diverse patient populations we treat and the opportunity to get to know patients with unique life experiences. An effective communicator, Tyler is adept at really listening to his patients, which allows him to customize a treatment program that meets their specific needs in order to achieve the best outcome from therapy.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife Justine and his two daughters enjoying the outdoors boating, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
